Seems like it's not a good idea to poke fun of coworkers on facebook. Even if you don't mention them by name, referring to a coworker and calling them an ugly bitch is almost enough to get you suspended from work. I'd advise against it. And the fact that she had the audacity to claim that I call and threaten her is even more ridiculous. She goes to my boss and says she feels threatened and fears for her life, over calls that I clearly did not make, My advice to her? If you feel threatened by someone and fear for your life, and you allegedly have saved voice mails of me threatening to hurt you, go to the fucking police. Jesus christ, I dunno how my boss didn't see right through it. He should have been like, "you feel threatened and scared for your life? Why the fuck are you telling me? Call the god damn police!!"
Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, slander (for transitory statements), and libel
(for written, broadcast, or otherwise published words)—is the
communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or
implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation
a negative image. It is usually a requirement that this claim be false
and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the
person defamed (the claimant).
This is where my statement is not bad. My comment cannot be proven since there are no strict guidelines on how to prove if someone is ugly or not. But her comments can be proven false. Her intent was to discredit me at my job causing a loss. I'm considering taking legal action. Would be fun. :D
Sorry to bore you all with this, but I had no idea what else to write. :) Good Night everyone.
